The power sector is presently experiencing a period of extraordinary change. The demand for electric-powered options across the commercial, transportation, and industrial sectors is increasing. Beneficial electrification is a method for replacing fossil fuel use with electricity to decrease overall emissions and cost. This initiative is a win-win-win by saving money for the consumer, creating a more robust grid, and a key part of the broader effort to decarbonize the energy economy.
As part of Entergy’s journey to become the premier utility, the Electric Technology Program is a beneficial electrification program which promotes the adoption of electric-powered alternatives to many applications that traditionally require fossil fuels. The customer-centric program provides support through dedicated field representatives and financial incentives to Entergy customers who purchase select electric equipment. The Program’s also provide assistance with grant funding applications and no-cost onsite consultations to evaluate customer’s operations.
This meeting will be held at Drusilla Seafood. Drusilla has agreed to give us a large room to allow for safe-spacing between guests. Doors open at 5:30pm for networking / socializing (please bring mask). Presentation starts at 6pm.
PMI credential holders will be awarded 1.5 PDU's for attendance (1.0 Strategic, 0.25 Technical, 0.25 Leadership)
