David Mitchell was named NASA’s Chief Program Management Officer in January 2022. In this presentation, David will discuss elements of his 35-year history working at NASA and specifically about his recent work and initiatives to improve program and project management across the Agency.

David F. Mitchell is NASA’s Chief Program Management Officer. In this role, Mitchell reports to Associate Administrator Bob Cabana and is responsible for strengthening the agency’s oversight, management, and implementation of program management policies, processes, and best practices.
