Stakeholder management is important to consider during each of the 5 project phases. Amidst the project scope, budget, deadlines, KPI and deliverables lies a very important and sometimes overlooked component - People.

It is very easy to hyper focus on project team members, templates, spreadsheets and processes while failing to give adequate time and attention to all stakeholders. Lack of time and attention given to stakeholders leads to faulty project execution and management.

Project Plans are only as good as the people that are responsible for execution and implementation.

The session will focus on stakeholder management: Decision styles, communication and buy in.

This meeting will be held at Opportunity Machine's new location - 314 Jefferson St. in Downtown Lafayette.

Parking is available along Jefferson St, Garfield St., and in the lot between Marley's Sports Bar & Dwyer's Café. Metered options are free after 5:00 p.m.

Networking begins at 5:00 p.m. and the presentation will start at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Please make sure to register early as capacity is limited to 30 participants.

PDUs will be issued on behalf of credentialed PMIBR members - 1.5 PDU's for attendance
