Josh will describe his journey into project management through the experience of founding a number of professional cybersecurity and technology-focused groups across Louisiana.


This meeting will be held at Opportunity Machine's new location - 314 Jefferson St. in Downtown Lafayette.

Parking is available along Jefferson St, Garfield St., and in the lot between Marley's Sports Bar & Dwyer's Café. Metered options are free after 5:00 p.m.

Networking begins at 5:00 p.m. and the presentation will start at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Please make sure to register early as capacity is limited to 30 participants.

PDUs will be issued on behalf of credentialed PMIBR members - 1.5 PDU's for attendance (Talent Triangle: .50 Leadership/.50 Strategic/.50 Technical). 


Joshua Tannehill (JTan) | Senior Manager, Trust & Safety | Lumen Technologies

JTan is a retired Louisiana Air National Guard Cybersecurity leader with over 25 years of IT/Cybersecurity experience.  

He currently serves as the internet police for Lumen Technologies in his day job and volunteers as a leader in many cybersecurity groups in Louisiana to include president of the Cloud Security Alliance, VP of the Acadiana region of InfraGard - Louisiana, and the President of the SWLA Cyber Club.  

Previously founded NELASEC in Monroe and DEFCON Acadiana.

He has a daughter who is a senior at McNeese University and he lives in Lake Charles.
