Program/Project Manager, Product Manager/Owner, Scrum Master, BA - Applying Agile/Traditional Roles in a Hybrid PMO environment
Most Agile projects execute within the traditional organization and traditional PMO with their own methods, hierarchy, and roles. The Agile leader must parse this structure to simplify, reduce, decompose, and incrementally iterate while not violating the needs of the more plan-driven approach. In addition to the 3 roles of Scrum, Scrum Master, Product Owner, and Agile team, key roles of Program Manager and Project Manager still exist. We will discuss how to view the responsibilities in a way that allow them to coexist and scale up or down based on size and complexity of the project.
