In the current state of recruiting, although unemployment has increased immensely, it is still a difficult market to recruit skilled professionals that are often needed for mission-critical projects in an organization.  Economic factors continue to play a role in the war for talent, and the changing dynamics of the workplace are forcing organizations to operate differently.  Having a robust strategy is more important than ever.  In this session, we will discuss proactive strategies for both recruiting and retaining top talent, and employee engagement best practices during challenging times.  It’s truly a marathon, and not a sprint.

Meeting begins at 5:30pm with networking and socializing.  Presentation begins at 6:00 p.m. PMI Credential Holders will be awarded 1.5 PDU's for attendance (1.0 for Leadership, 0.5 for Strategic). Participants should adhere to latest government recommendations with regards to face coverings.

The session will be presented by Christina Boudreaux, a consultant in the recruiting and HR arena who has over 15 years of HR and Talent Acquisition experience and is passionate about helping companies find and leverage the best talent possible. Christina's experience includes senior level human resources and recruiting leadership roles in both the private and public sector.  Christina has led national recruiting organizations for publicly traded companies, and led many initiatives to drive business results through recruiting and retention strategies. 

In 2016, she started a small, boutique recruiting and human resources consulting firm, Connectly Recruiting that works with organizations to support them through recruiting efforts for executive search, professional recruiting efforts, and outplacement services.   The services provided also includes job seeker services, such as resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and interview coaching, with a focus on helping clients to put their best foot forward in today’s competitive job market.
